No New Posts Hogsmeade Station

A "tiny, dark platform" where the Hogwarts Express ends its journey north from Platform Nine-And-Three-Quarters. The station is located near the lake, and from there a road extends around the lake to Hogwarts Castle. The station is actually quite a distance from the town itself, being on the opposite side of the Hogwarts grounds

A small, cramped tea shop with decor on the tacky side of frilly (such as floating golden cherubs throwing pink confetti), located just off High Street.

No New Posts The Shrieking Shack

Falsely rumored to be "the most haunted building in Britain," the Shrieking Shack is a favorite stop on any Hogsmeade visit. However, the wails that were once heard emanating from this creepy building were not in fact ghosts

No New Posts Post Office

The only wizarding post office we ever hear of, where at least three hundred owls, from Great Grays to tiny Scops ("Local Deliveries Only"), wait to carry messages. They sit on shelves that are color-coded, depending on how fast you want your letter to get to its destination

Board Description
Hogsmeade
Hogsmeade is the only village in Britain inhabited exclusively by wizards and witches. Hengist of Woodcraft built the village a thousand years ago in the shadow of a large, rocky mountain to hide from the Muggles who had persecuted him. The village consists of a High Street lined with thatched-roofed shops, surrounded by streets of cottages that become further apart as one gets further from the main village. As the only completely non-Muggle community, Hogsmeade has played a pivotal role in wizarding history in the country. It attracts all sorts of magical beings, like ogres and hags, who wouldn't blend in well in Muggle areas. Hogsmeade is not far from the school (about a thirty minutes' walk--twice as long if the journey is made through one of the two secret passages connecting it to the school). Hogwarts students in their third year or above can visit the village four times a year, one Saturday in each season.
