Oliver only shook his head at her stuttered words. He could not believe that she seemed as though he would blow up at her for not knowing who he was. It was actually kind of nice for once having someone talk to you without the big bustle of oh my god your...He smiled at her and shrugged his broad shoulders.
"Don't apologize it's no big deal." he comforted trying not to think to much about her suddenly going quiet. He watched as she seemed frustrated by the increasing number of shoppers, pushing past people and becoming rather rude. "Back to school shopping, I remember why I don't miss this" he chuckled trying to lighten the mood around them.
She began to speak about the types of dogs she may be more interested in getting and he listened to the breeds. Neither were ones he was familiar with. "I'm not sure about either of them but my adoptive daughter has a boarder collie whose rather protective and even her golden puppy has a protective streak in her." he realized he was once more rambling on about his kids.

She smiled up at him, a strong cool breeze traveling through and teasing her hair, having waft back behind her. She glanced up and noticed clouds were starting to fill the sky. A glance at the crowd showed they were, not so much trying to get to a shop, but to get out of Diagon Alley to head home. A little rain never bothered Gwen though, so she ignored the clouds for now.
"A border collie and a golden pup? Those are going to be fun together. And anything breed can be protective to someone they love. Its all about the way they're treated." she pondered a moment, "Maybe I'll ask around the police force. I bet they'll have something I can work with,"

Oliver could not get over how quick the clouds were closing in and despite the fact that rain had never bothered him his wife may have other plans. He stood up then and looked at Gwen with a sympathetic look.
"I'm sorry to have to do this but I need to find my four kids and wife and get them home before any of them get sick. Last thing I need on top of packing them for hogwarts. Sorry Gwen. I hope to see you around."
He turned his head quick enough to hear his wife hollar for him and waved before jogging down to catch up to them/

Gwen watched him stand up, and couldn't help but feel sad for him leaving. "I hope to see you again too Oliver. Maybe I'll have to make it to a match sometime." she smiled and gave a little wave as he trotted down the street, to where she saw him meet up with a woman and a few kids.
Sighing in regret, she stayed where she was, deciding it would be easier to await for the rain to start falling, and then the crowds would be thinned.
