Take a deep breath, as you walk through the doors
This was it. The moment of truth. If she couldn't do this, then she might as well just head back home, never to show her face again. Avys stood where she had gotten out of the carriage, and was, to be honest, scared out of her mind. She had no idea where she was, didn't have a clue where she was going and who knew what she would run into. Her body trembled slightly in the cold, and beside her, Ruya whimpered and stood still. He wouldn't move until she cued him to, but that didn't mean he wasn't anxious to get inside.
You're just psyching yourself out, standing here, she thought to herself. And it was true. She could hear the sounds of the students coming from inside, and she picked up the voices of older people, whom she was presuming were professor of the school. Speaking to strangers was not her forte, but if she didn't find someone who could lead Ruya to the Hufflepuff common room, she would probably wander around the halls for months before they found it.
"Alright Ruya. Inside. Lets find Headmistress Holland," she held tightly to the handle of her dog. The harness went around his chest and front legs with a bar at the top for her to hold onto. Every step he took, she felt it, and when they began to ascend the stairs, it was easy because she could sense him climbing.
When they reached the landing, it was easy to tell when they were in the castle. Voices bounced around and behind her, returned from the walls behind her. Ruya led her over to what sounded like a group of professors, and before she could hang back, Ruya charged forward, as if knowing she would wait until the last minute to speak to them.
Clearing her throat, she ducked her head and quietly asked, "I am sorry to be a bother, but is there anyway someone could take me to Headmistress Holland?" Avys didn't know how many people knew of her acceptance to Hogwarts. But she was sure if she stayed, everyone would know about her.
Its the morning of your very first day.... Lyrics: Fifteen-Taylor Swift [/blockquote]

Selly’s eyes stayed transfixed on the doorway as she heard voices and watched as two of her best students entered at a run up the stairs and towards the commons. She only shook her head with a faint smile and watched as they were preceded by the eldest Wood boy. She smiled a greeting to the man and exchanged an almost knowing look between he and her groundskeeper. There was definitely chemistry there she knew, mostly because she had her title and she got a first name but she didn’t mind.
“That is fine Mr. Wood. Thank you for letting me know!” she commented on him and cleared her throat herself as he mentioned there being anything he could do. “It has come to my attention about your current situation and I would like to offer you a position here at Hogwarts. I know you were quite the History of Magic buff and I could always use a good flying instructor. Would you be interested?” she asked him forgetting momentarily that there were others around. “You will have a decent salary, your own office and quarters, you’ll have free use of the pitch as well as many other experiences I’m sure” she added and waited for his reply.
Her eye was drawn away as another of her professors; Gregory Knight approached the bunch of them. She caught his eye as well and felt her cheeks grow warm but luckily not enough to cause her to blush. She nodded in return to his greeting and smiled slightly with a small shake of her head. “You are far from late. I have delayed the banquet until the stragglers arrive.” She explained glancing back to Gwen who seemed as though someone had given her a love potion as Wood had entered the room. She smiled faintly and felt her attention being pulled away yet again by the entrance of yet another being only this one a tad shorter than the adults that surrounded her.
Selly watched as a gorgeous looking dog directed a very unstable looking girl towards their little group. She watched the dog and nodded to her professors as she moved towards the dog and touched it’s head gently before looking down at her blind student. “Yes that would be me! You must be Miss. Knight” she remembered the last name rather well seeing as how it was similar to Gregor..er Professor Knight’s. She looked at the dog then the girl. “I bet you need a hand to the commons am I right? Do you need anything else before I set you and your dog friend here a guide?” she asked politely turning about once more as a new voice seemed to join their little group. This one was a very well dressed girl seeking her attention.
“Ahh you would be absolutely correct Miss Tamber. Welcome to Hogwarts.” She greeted before taking in her situation. “That is fine. Our feast has been delayed a bit but being new you will have to take part in the sorting as well seeing as how I do not choose the houses. There are a couple other older students to be sorted as well so you will not be alone. As to your belongings and such I shall get you another list and a pass to Hogsmeade this weekend. However you may have a guide to aid you since it is very rare to be sent off alone. I will contact you later, please feel free to look around the castle in the mean time.” She told the girl and felt a small surge of triumph in herself for handling multiple situations this well.

Short, I know.
"Thank you." Antara told the Headmaster graciously, recognizing her dismissal. She turned away, trying to decide where to go. It was a new place, but soon Antara would know it well. She set off in a random direction, wondering vaguely if she should write Larissa. She didn't want to lose contact, but she was embarrassed at leaving her behind, not to mention never saying goodbye. And still, she wondered if her father might be right after all. Just forget about her, she told herself, knowing she couldn't.

Take a deep breath as you walk through door,
Avys felt Ruya's tail wag and then a voice spoke, close to Ruya so she assumed that the woman had patted him. "Yes, that would be me! You must be Miss Knight" the woman paused in her speech, that momentary pause all Avys needed to analyze the woman. Her voice was soft, mellow, and inviting. It told Avys that she was someone to trust, someone she could confide in when needed. During the pause, she nodded her head to acknowledge that she was indeed Miss Knight.
"I bet you need a hand to the commons am I right? Do you need anything else before I set you and your dog friend here a guide?" The Headmistress continued and Avys nodded her head once more. She was about to say something when the Headmistress addressed another student whom had walked up behind Avys. She shuddered, a little startled that someone had snuck up behind her. With the noises of all the other students and teachers reverberating around her, she was a little lost, and she couldn't discern who was creating what very well.
As the other female took her leave, Avys felt she should take a chance to make a bid for the headmistress' attention. "Um, no ma'am, there is nothing else that I require. All I need is someone to lead Ruya and I around, to help him learn where everything is," Avys spoke before anyone else could get her attention. For some reason it only took Ruya one time to learn a destination and its name. He was a very smart dog. One of the best seeing eye dogs out there. Its the morning of your very first day. Marcus didn’t quite know what was to be expected as he marched towards the castle from the forbidden forest. He lead the way, his two children following behind him with their heads held as high as their fathers. Marcus had always been a handsome man but having been released straight out of Azkaban, he was rather rugged. His hair was long and matted and his clothes were torn and dirty along with his nails. His children however were dressed to the nines and clean not to mention rather good looking like their father when they are cleaned up.
They reached the stairwell leading into the entrance hall and walked straight in and headed towards Selena. Oh how he remembered her and the day she got those scars yet she would never remember seeing as how the younger boys and girls didn’t get a first hand view but a viewing from a crystal ball upstairs. He smirked knocking into the young Slytherin girl who was turning away from the group, eyeing her a moment before stopping in front of the headmistress.
“Miss Holland;" he said coolly not caring about the looks the rest of the group was giving him. He was very aware that his face, name and story had been posted in the prophet the year he was convicted of killing his wife but he stood by his decision of not pleading guilty for years. He glanced back at the headmistress and nodded. “These are my children; Landon and Sorena. They need a school in order to complete their education. Seems they figured with my absence they did not need to complete this, now that I’m free. I say otherwise. Will you teach them?” he asked straight forwards.

As his father knocked into the pretty little Slytherin, he only smirked with a wink in her direction before falling in step with his dad.
He wet his lips slowly as he looked at the headmaster and felt his smirk grow wider, as his eyes travelled over her body. He ran a hand across his chin before glancing around at the others about him. The little girl at his side was pretty cute too and he nodded his head in her direction. “Hello beautiful” he said loud enough so only the game keeper could hear. “Need some help ploughing the pumpkin patch?” he asked cockily before casting his gaze to the rivals of the family, Wood. He straightened up more and glanced back at his father as he introduced him and his sister.
“Miss Holland” he said in a seductive sounding voice. “The pleasure is all mine” he finished with a white grin, casting a glance at his sister.

Yeah here we go for the hundredth time, Hand grenade pins in every line --------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------- Throw 'em up and let something shine, Going out of my fucking mind Sorena followed her father and brother with her head held high despite her slight fear of both. Her greatest fear came true as her father was released to prison and she along with her brother were sent back into his custody. Her brother now eighteen was out on his own anyways but she being only fifteen was sent back to him. She didn’t believe her father when he said he didn’t set the house a blaze. She along with her mother had been fast asleep when the fire happened and had it not been for her brother she too would have died within the blaze. Her father was a man who believed women were only good for house wives and not for heirs so it wouldn’t surprise her though she kept this secret.
She entered the entrance hall with her family and only shook her head as her father banged into the girl. She hesitated then stopped and helped to steady the girl asking her quietly if she was ok before following after her family with a grin on her face in the girl’s direction. As her father glanced back at her, her smile faded and she raised her head once more before nodding to the Headmistress, her arms crossed over her tiny figure.
“Headmistress” she said quietly with a nod, showing how shy she truly was. She glanced back at the Slytherin girl, and then her crystal orbs looked at those around her. Shotgun opera lock and load, Cock it back and then watch it go

Gwen had been about to offer taking the young blind girl for a tour around the castle. Who better to show them the way than the keeper of the keys and grounds. But then the three newcomers walked down the hallway towards the group, and for some reason, Gwen felt a sense of dread. It was confirmed when the oldest unnecessarily shoved past Miss Tamber, then brashly asked Selena to teach his children. She watched as the younger sister helped to make sure that Miss Tamber was okay, and that put her at a little ease with at least one of this family
Gwen suppressed both a gag and a bark of laughter when the younger male attempted to hit on her. She was thinking maybe she'd have to get a sample of his scent so Ronan would know that he wasn't allowed around the hut. "Um. No, thank you," she replied politely, just as quiet as he.
Her eyes glanced over at the younger girl wearing not-so-school-appropriate clothing, but keeps a straight face and leaves no judgement in her eyes. If this was her older brother and father, Gwen figured she needed something to help stand out from under their shadows. She gave her a soft smile. At least she had been willing to help Miss Tamber.
She then turned towards Selena once more. "Headmistress. If you have nothing more for me to do, I would be more than willing to give Miss Knight and, Ruya, was it? I would love to show them again to everything important," Gwen smiled at the young girl, then realized it was foolish of her to do so, since she couldn't see. This may have been harder than she thought.

Take a deep breath as you walk through the door,
Angry footsteps made their way towards the group where she was standing, and Avys stood as still as she could, pulling Ruya close to her body, flush up against her leg. "Miss Holland, These are my children; Landon and Sorena. They need a school in order to complete their education. Seems they figured with my absence they did not need to complete this, now that I’m free. I say otherwise. Will you teach them?” The deep voice that happened near her was full of conceit. It made her shudder and put a hand on Ruya's head. It helped to calm her, but this wasn't her best situation.
"Hello beautiful," Avys' sensitive ears picked up another voice, a younger male. His voice was cocky, as if he was just so sure of himself. She was glad when he proceeded and she could tell he wasn't talking to her. “Need some help ploughing the pumpkin patch?” Avys couldn't hold back a bark of laughter, and she quickly put her hand over her mouth.
Um, no, thank you the female he was speaking to replied. She seemed nice, her voice was soft and welcoming, just like the Headmistress'
"Headmistress," the last voice revealed it was a female. Her voice revealed that she doesn't seem as angry as everyone else in her family. She stayed quiet, and Avys wondered more about her.
"Headmistress. If you have nothing more for me to do, I would be more than willing to give Miss Knight and, Ruya, was it? I would love to show them around to everything important," that voice appeared again, and Avys straightened up, feeling that she wouldn't mind going around with her. She seems nice, helpful. Avys turned her head up towards the Headmistress, unable to see her, but she smiled up where the voice had come from.
"I'd love to go with her," she said with a smile. Anything to get away from these people that were causing her so much tension.
Its the morning of your very first day

Oliver could only bring himself to grin like an overgrown idiot as Gwen said hi to him. He nodded and grinned back. This momentary grin faded however as she mentioned about knowing his current situation. He hadn’t been aware that it was public knowledge yet seeing as he hadn’t even told his children yet but he cleared his own throat and only nodded to her. “Oh..well..I uh..” he hesitated thinking about what this could mean, looking around at the other Professors surrounding him before nodding. “Y.yes. I think maybe I will take you up on that offer. In fact I’ll have my things in before morning.” He said setting his broom on the ground.
He stood about listening to the Headmistress speak with the new students when he heard shoes and turned about to see his arch rival, Flint and his two children close at his heels. He stood tall and beside the Headmistress, his eyes narrowed slightly at the straggly man who indeed looked like he had just gotten out of Azkaban. “Flint..” he stated plainly and eyed his son and daughter. He was impressed by the way they had grown more so by the daughter whom besides having this idiot as a father had the guts to help another student instead of allowing the bullying. Hard to believe she was a Slytherin then again with her parents he’d be afraid not to be.
His attention turned back to Gwen and heard her offer to the Headmistress. “Yes I too was about to offer my assistance with Miss Knight. Perhaps I will accompany you.” He said to Gwen and nodded to Selena. “We will get out of your way.”

Selena stood back casually her smile towards her students fading slightly as she seen the pureblood family enter her domain. Her eyes brushed over the tall man and his little followers. She recognised him or thought she had but it was not until Wood had said his name that it truly clicked who exactly it had been. Her mind was rushing with confusion as the tall, convict stated that these were his children and he demanded an education for them however ironically enough he had forget to introduce himself. Once that was cleared up she cleared her throat.
“Well Hogwarts is a home to all of those whom seek an education.” She stated simply accepting his request. She eyed the book of stragglers just as the two Flint children’s pasts appeared within the pages. Landon Flint, eighteen years of age, was kicked out of Durmstrangs for lack of attendance and rape of a student. Sorena Flint, fifteen years of age, kicked out of Beauxbatons for lack of effort. Selena’s eyes returned to the two children and thought it over. Selly’s eyes snapped back to the male Flint as he used a cheesy pick up line at her groundskeeper.
“The only ploughing you ought to be doing is through books to pass your N.E.W.T.s” she said sharply, standing before him. “If you kept as much focus on your studies as you do on the opposite sex you would not be eighteen and a non graduate.” She looked back at the eldest Flint with fire in her eyes. “I will accept your children Mr. Flint on a number of conditions!” she said simply, smirking as she returned her gaze to Landon. “Your daughter will start her fifth year only if she passes my tests that say she deserves it. Your son however, Will repeat his seventh year, he will join a number of committees to occupy his time outside of school and he will take part in them or I will fail him.” She crossed her arms over her chest and raised her brow in daring before turning back to Marcus. “Also; as for you, seeing as how I am doing you the favour of schooling your delinquents, I ask for a favour in return for you to reside as Potions master here at the school. Not only can you keep on eye on your children but you’ll have a paying job and I will have a potions Professor. Your son has a raw talent for the subject which leads me to assume you have a knack for it.”
Selena’s head went from Flint to Gwen to the new student, to Oliver and finally back to Gwen yet again. “That is fine. You and Oliver may show her around!” she agreed with a grin to both of them. “Thank you so much”

He wants to come with! Gwen was practically floating on air as Oliver offered to go around with her and Miss Knight throughout the school. Gwen then had to purse her lips to keep from laughing as Selena chastised the two children, standing up for Gwen. She thought that was nice of her, although she could stand up for herself, and the cough of laughter from the young girl was quite funny too.
Once Selena gave the go ahead, she smiled once more at the girl, forgetting that she couldn't see it. "Miss Knight, if you and Ruya would like to follow us, Mr. Wood and myself, Ms. O'Connor, would love to lead the two of you through the school." she started walking, and looking back, watched Oliver and Miss Knight with Ruya follow after. "I guess we can first start here with the Great hall...." Her voice trailed off from the group.

Take a deep breath as you walk through the door,
“Yes I too was about to offer my assistance with Miss Knight. Perhaps I will accompany you.” another male spoke, and for once, it didn't make her feel uncomfortable. He seemed friendly, and she could hear the emotion in his voice when he spoke to the female who offered to take her and Ruya around.
Listening to the Headmistress correct the children and set rules about their joining the school, she tuned them out slightly. She decided to use her voice to help figure out the shaping of the hall she was in. She could hear her voice quickly bouncing back off the wall closest to them, then soon after the wall opposite, the doorway which she had just entered from, and then it took the longest, a while later coming back from the stairways, farther down the hallway.
“That is fine. You and Oliver may show her around!” Avys listened to the Headmistress okay the pair to lead her around "Thank you so much”
Avys smiled, glad that the two people, besides the headmistress, that seemed to be the nicest, would be leading her around.
"Miss Knight, if you and Ruya would like to follow us, Mr. Wood and myself, Ms. O'Connor, would love to lead the two of you through the school." Avys followed after the voice, signalling Ruya to keep close. They paused when she paused, and Avys listened to her explain the place. "I guess we can first start here with the Great hall...." Avys nodded.
"Ruya. Great hall." She paused, and waited until Ruya gave a small bark, to signal he understood. "Okay, next?" She asked, then the group moved on.
Its the morning of your very first day.

As she turned him down he only huffed with a quiet laugh and shook his head. “Probably better seeing as how I’d be doing you a favour now wouldn’t I.” he turned his attention away from the groundkeeper, pretending now that she didn’t even exist.
He proceeded to listen to the headmistress as she informed his father that all were welcome to an education at Hogwarts if they wished and he took that moment to glance around the room. it was the fifth year for Sabrina, and the last for her older brother Frances. she had a huge crush on Scorpius Malfoy but she kept it a secret just like she kept her Epilepsy a secret. Her heart pumping, she was very fit and she loved to swim, she dove over 25 feet under the water in the lake at her house.
Sabrina ran into the castle in her uniform with her long blonde hair flowing behind her as she ran. " am I too late"she stopped in front of a group of adults, she saw a man who was well dressed, a couple of her teachers, the groundskeeper, and the Headmistress "I have my anti-seizure medications, do you want them now or later?"she said with her voice low enough only the Headmistress could hear. in her pocket she had the Activan to bring her out of the seizure and her 2 different medications. Only the professors and the Headmistress knew other than her family. She saw Landon Flint, Scorpius Malfoy and his Dad, A hufflepuff, Antara, sorena Flint,. "Hi" she said to them, she wasnt one who was usually noticed mostly because she was a quiet one, and spent more time with her guitar or Piano.
