history,
An average life, she grew up with an older sister that she didn't really spend time with. She grew up with her muggle parents, and at the age of 10 she realized she was special in a different way. She began practicing magic on her own, having stumbled upon Diagon Alley when she was 13, and she got her own books and wand with her allowance she exchanged at Gringotts.

When she was 14, she was practicing a potion, when something went terrible array, she was knocked out. When she came to, she was almost blind, and lost the memory of the last day. Unfortunately, the potions book she was doing the potion from disappeared in the accident. After a little while when her sight didn't get better, Avys' parents got her Ruya, and it brought her back from her sulking.

After she got her letter from Hogwarts, she was ecstatic that she would be getting the chance to learn magic and have the chance to maybe fix her sight.

She smiled up at him, a strong cool breeze traveling through and teasing her hair, having waft back behind her. She glanced up and noticed clouds were starting to fill the sky. A glance at the crowd showed they were, not so much trying to get to a shop, but to get out of Diagon Alley to head home. A little rain never bothered Gwen though, so she ignored the clouds for now.

"A border collie and a golden pup? Those are going to be fun together. And anything breed can be protective to someone they love. Its all about the way they're treated." she pondered a moment, "Maybe I'll ask around the police force. I bet they'll have something I can work with,"
