Amortentia needed to get better on her broom if she was going to be Captain. She knew she was good enough to do it, but hell she needed all the practice she could get. She was cocky, no doubt about that but for all her cockiness one thing she wasn't was stupid. She was out here to practice sharp and sudden turns, to learn to better fly around the three hooped goal posts, and to simply boost her ego by knowing that she could do this. That's why she wanted to be captain, ego. If she was to make captain, that'd make her most important. the "queen of the team" at least in her eyes.
Amortentia turned on her broom, looking down toward the ground. From here she had no idea who the person was, bit somebody was approaching the pitch. Perhaps she'd be joined in flight.

Walking head down towards the quidditch pitch, Iseabail had her broom in her hand. Not thinking about anything but the feeling of freedom that came with flight, she mounted her broom. Rather carelessly before looking up to make sure that she was clear above for take off. She spotted another student on a broom, who it was she couldn't tell from the distance. Iseabail pushed off, hard.
She flew towards the other end of the pitch, taking a deep dive when she reached the three posts. Looking back over her shoulder trying to see who else was in flight, she was relived to see a glimpse of green and silver. 'Beats red and gold' She whispered to herself as she flew over slowly to strike up a conversation with her house mate.

Amortentia saw the lovely Iseabail aproaching, she promptly turned to answer her comment on the Slytherin attire. "Frankly, it's not the quality of the color scheme that makes me glad to wear these. It's the quality of the people. the 'red team' just don't have the brains, or the blood it takes to succeed in the magical world." Amortentia said coldly. She truely believed that magic would be strongest in those bread into it and that the cunning of the Slytherin house was the key to being successful.
Amortentia looked the girl up and down, beautiful from head to toe. She made no real attempt to hide the fact that she was looking the girl over as she spoke. "I made captain this year. We could use another chaser, and to be honest, I wouldn't mind if you spent more time chasing me." Amortentia knew there was a mutual interest, they'd flirted before, and so these arrogant comments wouldn't bother Isea too much.

Chuckling slightly Iseabail, ran a hand through her messy black locks that had been blown over her face by the wind, and currently sticking to her bright red coated lips. 'Hello Amortentia, how was your holidays?' Iseabail asked trying to strike up a conversation to distract Amortentia from the soft blush that was slowly creeping across her own cheeks at the flirting that the other girl was doing, the fact that she had obviously ran her eyes over Iseabail didn't help the blush growing and spreading to her ears.
She did however enjoy the attention that she was getting from the other girl, but theres no way that Iseabail would ever admit to that. Quickly she scanned her eyes over the other girl, flicking from her face down to her broom. They both had the same model. 'Who do you think would win a race?' she asked cocking her head towards their brooms.

Amortentia was slightly taken-a-back by the fact that the girl she had such an interest in was changing the subject to the holidays, despite her flirting. "My holidays were pretty good. I missed Hogwarts though. Well, most of it..." She said with a loathing thought toward Gryfindore house and toward her ex-lover and fellow Slytherin. Amortentia bought her broom in line with the other girl's and smirked confidently.
"A race? Well. I'm pretty sure I'll win, but I dunno. I guess we'd need to find out first hand. But, while we're racing why don't we make a little wager. If I win, you and I have ourselves a romantic date next Hogsmead trip. You win, and I'll do your Muggle Studies homework for a week. Deal?"

Watching as the other girl brought her broom into line with her own, Iseabail smirked, as she heard the prize up for stake. Her homework for a dull subject done for a whole week. But she was curious about the date also. She looked at the girl beside her again. Summing up her potential to be a fun date. Nodding her head, Iseabail chuckled, if she played this properly she could win and get a date with Amortentia.
'Deal, GO!' Iseabail yelled as she shot ahead of the other girl, and flew around the goal posts at the end of the pitch, before making her way back to where the two had sat side by side. Stopping her broom, she smiled as she waited for her playmate to return. 'Well looks like I win love.' she smiled. 'I'll get my book to you soon as possible, and I think I'll take that date too' Iseabail winked, before drifting down to the ground beneath herself. Dismounting her broom, she made her way back to the castle.

The shout of go had caught the girl off guard. Her friend and flirt had taken a substancial lead and it was damaging to Amortentia's fragile, yet pronounced ego. Trying her best to hide this she spead off toward the other goal posts, she was moving fast but not fast enough to gain the ground she'd lost from being surprised at the start of things. This wasn't good. If the rest of the Slytherin team had seen thier captain lose this race it certainly wouldn't go over well. Still they hadn't and Amortentia had no interest in telling them it had happened.
As she returned to her original position, she cursed a little under her breath. She was stuck with muggle studies homework, although frankly she usually just sent it home to Christobel, who'd mail it back, complete to the letter. Sure Amortentia would do the other girls homework, but it'd get crappy marks compared to those that Amortentia herself would attract with her sister's work. Amor followed Iseabail to the ground, still a little surprised that she lost, but happy.
"So. Either way you win? That doesn't sound too fair, how's about a consolation prize?" With that Amortentia placed her hand gently under the other girl's chin and turned her head, moving in for a kiss that she honestly half-expected she wouldn't be given.

'Hey, what can I say?' Iseabail paused, trying to keep a straight face. 'I like to win. So much more, when I'm up against a cute girl, who may I add, is much better on a broom than I. So I cheated. I had to if I wanted to win.' Failing to hold a straight face any longer, Iseabail let her mouth curl and crack into a gigantic smile that took over her face. 'So no. It wasn't fair. But I still win.'
Blushing as she felt Amortentia place her hand softly under her chin, Iseabail sallowed hard. 'But I do think that a consolation prize sounds fair.' She lent forward and softly pressed her red lips against Amortentia's lips, before quickly pulling away, and turning to head back to her dorm to ditch her broom. After taking a few steps, she turned to face Amortentia again. 'By the way Amortentia, I was going to ask you on a date, by next week anyway. I promised myself.'

Amortentia's eyes, one of sky blue and the other emerald green closed as she readily, and happily accepted the kiss. When they re-opened her pink lips had parted with the other girls as she started to walk a step or two behind her, but quickly catching up, even taking a half-step lead subconciously. Not a lot would make Amortentia more happy that what she'd just experienced, although something here was a definateive surprise to her. She listened to Iseabail's words, thinking at first that she must have been kidding. How could they have known eachother five years only for Amortentia to find out that the other girl wanted her now? It was pretty much mind blowing to her.
"Really? You honestly feel that way? I'm not gonna lie, way backin second year I was crushing pretty hard on you, those feelings haven't gone anywhere since, I was gonna make a move in third year, after the break-up with Yvette, but I just couldn't do it, and I guess I just never worked up the guts to ask until then."

Smiling and blushing slightly as she listened to Amortentia tell her about her long lasting crush, Iseabail fidgeted with her broom awkwardly. She wasn't used to getting told such things about herself. Or used to getting any attention in this manor at all. 'I didn't like Yvette very much. I was always jealous of her.' Iseabail said softly her blush turning crimson. To be honest, Iseabail knew she was gay young, but she'd never had a girlfriend, or a proper crush really, except on Amortentia. Sure she thought a few girls at school were pretty, beautiful some. But that was as far as her feelings ever went.
'So uh, are you heading back? To the dorms I mean? 'Cause if you are, I was thinking, we could walk back together?' Iseabail blushed as she tried to make sure that she didn't sound sleazy asking the other girl to walk back to the bedrooms with her.

Amortentia observed the effect that she'd had on her house mate, still tasting her sweet lips. Amortentia was blushing just as much on the inside as Isea was on the outside, the cunning of her fellow Slytherin pailed in comparison to her beauty and to Amor that was saying something. She couldn't believe she'd landed this date, despite her arrogance. She'd been looking at this girl with longing eyes since she was twelve years old and now here she was at fifteen, walking toward the beautiful castle with the girl, still tasting her on her lips. "I'd be delighted to escort you back to our abode, my dear." She joked in the way she said it, but she would infact gladly walk back to thier mutual destination with the girl she hoped would be her future girlfriend.
