Conceived only days before Sirius was killed, Sirius Black Darmoth had no idea who his father was. His mother, Melinda, wanted to keep him safe from Voldemort’s follows, she didn’t want to lose him to them. After Voldemorts fall, even though Sirius’ name was cleared, she thought the world would look down on Sirius , so she kept him hidden away. He was only brought out once, when she took him to a not well known wand maker to get his wand.

Growing up, Sirius was taught magic by his mother secretively in their cottage home. He was always wondering about his father, but he knew it bothered his mother, so he tried to not bring it up to her. As he grew up, he helped take care of his mother, but as he grew older, she grew older and wasn’t able to take care of him, or herself.

She finally passed away, and Sirius went through all her belongings, and figured out that His father went to Hogwarts, so he applied to be the Caretaker there, and has headed off to try and learn more about his father.
